The museum displays a collection of more than three hundred small pieces, either modern or carved in the old fashion, which have been carved by artisans from Compostella and Asturias. These pieces show the history of jet in Compostella by displaying the typical carvings related to important pilgrimages to Santiago. As well as this, the pieces also let us know about different ways of performing the art of jet carving.

A small space of 200 square metres let us experience the interesting and also magic world of jet. The place is located in Cervantes Square, in Compostella. This square leads us onto Azabachería Street, a place where the jet-craftsmen used to be located in the Middle Ages.
